Simple Church Planting

We are glad to say that Simple Church is not just another ‘model’ of doing church to take it’s place amongst the other ways of ‘doing’ church.

Simple Church is an attempt to ask what is the biblically minimum requirements for a people or gathering to be considered church.

The reason is because although the other things that surround church can be helpful, the less requirements we add the church the less chance we will transmit our own ‘culture’ onto churches starting in a context different to our own.

Secondly, we want simple churches to multiply and re-produce in seeing people come to know Jesus and then gathering in his name to disciple each other into living like Jesus in their own community.

We want to be honest and say we are novices at all of this, we are beginning our journey in learning what it is to be church planting in a way that makes a genuine impact on a community, but we are on the journey!
